A historic landscape at your doorstep: Walmgate Stray from prehistory to present.

Wednesday 1st May, 2013, 5:30 start from the kissing gate at the south end of Green Dykes Lane.

Dear All,

We invite you to join us for a less conventional presentation on one of the Department of Archaeology's on-going research projects headed by Al Oswald, David Roberts and Helen Goodchild. On Wednesday 1st May (tomorrow) please join us for a guided walking tour of Walmgate Stray by the University of York's main campus, to hear about its history and prehistory as well as some of the more current research being undertaken by our team. This is a great opportunity to learn about some of the fascinating history right at our doorstep and promises to be an engaging evening. Discussion is welcome.
